NERIS Update: Final Stages Underway

We're nearing the finish line with the NERIS transition. Our programming team expects to wrap up the project by the end of July. As always, our focus is on ensuring a smooth experience for our users with as little disruption as possible.

What's Changing?

You'll continue to use the current incident reporting module with only a few minor adjustments. Our goal is to keep the process your personnel are used to intact, while integrating the necessary updates for NERIS compliance.

What to Expect

The NERIS reporting rollout will happen in two phases:

  • Back Office Release - The new NERIS reporting features will be available first in the web-based back office portal.
  • App Update - A few months later, we will release the updated incident reporting module in the mobile app.

This approach gives your team time to adapt without overwhelming them with changes all at once.

At this point, you should have already been contacted by your state program manager regarding NERIS. If you haven't heard anything yet, we recommend reaching out to them directly.
